Karen graduated from a prestigious international school called European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, U.K. In 1990, she has been passionate about Osteopathy and health from a very young age and continues to develop this life long passion all year long through reading and studying the many aspects of health care.

After establishing clinics in the U.K. and France (where she was born) and working in Hobart for several years,she and her husband Dan decided to move to the beautiful Whitsundays in 2008 and establish their clinic.

Karen is very experienced in the treatment of babies and children, she is also very interested in chronic pain and various approaches to deal with this all too common complaint, having suffered from fibromyalgia herself since childhood…

After much research, Karen introduced new technologies to the clinic such as Scenar therapy, Neurofeedback and Photobiomodulation.

Due to the epidemic number of people suffering from depression and chronic illnesses, has studied nutrition for brain optimisation and bio-individual nutrition for overall health. When Karen isn’t at work, or reading about work she can be found cooking delicious organic meals for her family, horse riding or simply spending time with her family and friends

Having grown up in the Popovich family, being immersed in the world of natural therapies has naturally lead Sasha to start working at our Peak Body Mechanics Clinics as a NeurOptimal technician and Thor laser therapist, for which she undertook her training certificate.

Working with patients started to give Sasha the taste for furthering her studies into the field and she is now studying to become a Remedial Massage therapist with a view to continue studying in Dry Needling and Cranio-Sacral therapy in the future.

When not working in the family business or studying, Sasha can be found using her sewing skills in general cushion manufacturing and honing her gardening and painting skills as a hobby.

Our Practice Manager Mari has been a great asset to our clinics from day one, she easily transferred her skills from Hospitality and Retail to Medical Receptionist without a glitch.

Having been a patient of both Dan and Karen has given Mari the edge as regards to making new patients feel more comfortable with the entire process of booking appointments, getting to the right clinic at the right time and understanding what will happen, she has established very good rapport with existing patients and is appreciated by all including babies who need a lap to sit on at times and toddlers who might want to be entertained while their parent is being treated.

Donna was recruited by Karen for her vast experience in Nutrition, supplements and healthcare. After completing her Thor PhotoBioModulation training in 2020, Donna started working from our Proserpine clinic where she delivers a holistic approach to the therapy by stimulating the Brain’s Frontal lobes and lymphatic system for ‘feel good’ hormone production and detoxing, followed by targeting pain/ inflammation and tissue repair protocols as recommended by Thor laser.

Besides using her knowledge in health products to improve her client’s health outcomes, Donna’s natural bedside manner continues to prove a great asset to the clinic.
